It addresses design principles and engineering issues of beam diagnostic and control instrumentation for charged-particle accelerators and for beam transportation lines. This workshop forum promotes the exchange and review of new ideas in instrumentation design. Tutorial sessions introduce relevant topics for engineers and scientists.
